What Noor is

Noor is a bilingual (Arabic/English) learning platform serving three audiences: adults, children, and people with special needs. The last surface (Noor Care) is universal and not tied to any particular faith; Islamic content is opt-in.

Account and learners

  • You must be 18 or older to create a parent/guardian account.
  • You are responsible for password security and activity on your account.
  • Children cannot create accounts on their own.
  • You can delete your account and all data at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Do not impersonate someone else.
  • Do not abuse the AI chat features.
  • Do not attempt to breach the platform or access others' data.
  • Do not post inappropriate content on the custom AAC board.

Educational content

Noor content is for educational and developmental purposes. For the optional Islamic content: references draw on recognised sources (Mushaf al-Uthmani, Hisn al-Muslim, 40 Hadith Nawawi). Noor is NOT a substitute for professional speech therapy, religious counsel, or medical advice.

Availability

We aim for continuous uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance. We will try to notify you of significant changes by email.

Limitation of liability

Noor is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from your use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence or personal injury.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email and take effect after 30 days. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
