Az-Zukhruf 43:56
Ayah 56 of 89
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ سَلَفٗا وَمَثَلٗا لِّلۡأٓخِرِينَ
And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples

Fajaʿalnahum salafan wamathalan lilakhireena
