Building the Mosque and Brotherhood

622 CE (1 AH)

The first thing the Prophet ﷺ did in Madinah was build a mosque. He worked with his own hands alongside his companions. Then he created a bond of brotherhood between the Muhajirun (people from Makkah) and the Ansar (people of Madinah). The Ansar shared their homes and money with their new brothers.
