The Conquest of Makkah
630 CE (8 AH)
The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah with ten thousand Muslims, with very little fighting. He entered humbly, with his head bowed in thanks to Allah. He forgave almost all the people of Makkah, even those who had hurt him for years.
The lesson
Forgiveness is a sign of true strength. When you can forgive, always choose to forgive.
