The Farewell Pilgrimage and Passing of the Prophet ﷺ

632 CE (10 to 11 AH)

The Prophet ﷺ performed his last Hajj (pilgrimage) and gave his Farewell Sermon. He said: 'O people, your Lord is one and your father is one. No Arab is better than a non-Arab, and no non-Arab is better than an Arab, except through taqwa (being mindful of Allah)' (Musnad Ahmad). He then passed away in Madinah at the age of 63, leaving us the Quran and his Sunnah (way of life).
